Lonely Planet’s Guide to Travel Photography

If you’re an amateur at photography and were ever serious about improving your skills or getting to know more about the craft, this book by Richard L’Anson is a very handy guide to own.

I purchased an earlier edition many years ago and not only did it open my eyes to new possibilities, I gained new skills and knowledge to how better use camera and add to my necessary accesories. It must be said that if you don’t own a DSLR camera this book probably won’t help as much. For the budding photographer with a DSLR, I highly recommend this book. Pretty soon you will gain the skills to take great shots at speed, which is often required in the field when tourists who insist on taking photos of themselves won’t get out of your way!
